\nUser Interface Design is central to software development. Today\u2018s users expect applications which are oriented to their needs and make it easy for them to carry out their tasks. This demanding requirement can only be fulfilled by specialists who understand users, their tasks, and the underlying technology. As an user interface designer you work closely with Solution Management and Development to enable users to do business in the most effective and efficient manner. Your tasks include:
\n $nbsp$$nbsp$Gathering end-user requirements by organization, execution, moderation of end user site visits and user days, including collection\/consolidation of results
\n $nbsp$$nbsp$Facilitate design sessions with involved teams
\n $nbsp$$nbsp$Development of user interface designs, using various prototyping techniques
\n $nbsp$$nbsp$General verification of designs through reviews, validations, and formal usability testing
\n $nbsp$$nbsp$General design support and consultation for the development teams
\nRequirements
\n $nbsp$$nbsp$At least 2 years experience with various usability methods, e.g. contextual inquiry techniques, design prototyping, usability reviews and testing
\n $nbsp$$nbsp$Educational background in either (Media-)Design, Software Development, Information Architecture, Human Factors (Psychology)
\n $nbsp$$nbsp$Knowledge of HTML and a graphics package, for example, Paintshop Pro, Photoshop, etc.
\n $nbsp$$nbsp$Knowledge of at least one programming language would be an advantage
