该主页的特点是用户可以自定义网页的内容，同时用户可以将主页上连接其他网站，例如ebay, Facebook等，这样用户可以不用离开雅虎主页而访问其他的网站。除此以外，新主页的另一个亮点就是清除了繁杂的Yahoo服务。在主页的右边区域，通常列举了邮箱、天气、智力游戏等服务。
